Drill 1: A Flight of Box Tag (20 min)

We’re going to try out some new games that promote awareness, quickness, and aggressiveness.

Set up two 18 by 18 yd squares (eyeball size for appropriateness of 10 players running).

Two groups of ~10, each working in a square

Block 1: 4 Taggers (4 min)

(Essential Practice A Original Setup)

Assuming 10 in each square, give bibs to four “taggers” to start.

Taggers try to tag anyone without a bib. If they succeed, they give the bib immediately to the person they tagged.

Object of the game is to NOT be holding a bib when “stop” is called (after one minute). At end of each round, you get a point if you are not holding a bib.

Block 2: Protect your bib (8 min?)
